Samanayrs

Within the next few days, two Expeditions are going to be held by me, with Sushi's permission. There will be both a Roleplay and a Random Expedition, and as with past expeditions you will only be allowed to take part in one or the other. I'm hoping everyone will enjoy participating.

Notes:
Random Expedition to be held November 13th, 4pm PST.
- Will run for however long it takes for all locations to be claimed.
- Each user may only claim 3 slots maximum, and must wait at least 30 minutes between each claim.
- Requires very little effort, but will likely hide fewer prizes.

RP Expedition to begin November 15th, 8pm PST.
- Will run for 3-to-5 days, depending on how quickly the players reply.
- Prizes will depend both on the creativity and number of your replies, as well as the path you take.
- While SKILL is a factor in the prizes you may recieve, replies must still be legible, with proper spelling and grammar and at least one paragraph in length.
- Requires consistent effort, but will have more prizes, with opportunity for more than one per participant.

While the Random expedition will be open for everyone, the RP will require you to sign up beforehand. There will be limited slots. Please remember that if you do receive a spot in the RP expedition you will not be able to participate in the Randomised route. You are not required to be an owner to participate, if you do not have a Samanayr you may ask to borrow one from someone else for the duration or you may create a name for a non-existing Samanayr to play during the Expedition.

Sign-ups will open November 12th, 9am PST, and there will be eight slots in total.

Congratulations to everyone who snagged a slot! Wow, looks like most were grabbed within the first minute... That was quick indeed. I look forward to RPing with you all in a few days time, and for everyone else; do not despair! The Random expedition runs tomorrow, and there should be a few cute prizes hiding in there.

This is fine. Along as the Oquiesa doesn't roam on her own, then she's more than welcome to accompany Twilight.

Is it still possible to sign up for the Random Expedition? I don't really have the time to do the RP one and it seems I missed the slots for it anyway.

@ Novanight - You don't have to sign up for the Random expedition, only the RP one because there are limited spots.

Can't wait for the RP expedition! I live on the East Coast though, so it'll be 11 when it first starts, and I'm not sure if I'll be allowed on that late, but I can reply first thing in the morning... that okay?

Seren, in my experience the RP Expedition usually lasts several days. You'll be just fine replying in the morning.

Thus far with all of them in the past, there's one initial reply and then a secondary reply after the person running the game gets a chance to hand out the first wave of prizes. I'm not sure if everything is going to be run exactly the same, but that's how it's been up to this point. I'd recommend getting a feel for some of the older RP Expeditions in prep if you want an idea of what you're "in for". They're a lot of fun!

I figured, but I wanted to make sure. XD The time zone thing has to be the only annoying thing about Samanayrs. <3 But I'm looking forward to it, Thanks Jennalyn for the reply!

Yeah, I'll have to post my first response to the prompt in the morning. It's already a quarter past 10pm here and I gotta get up early for work so no staying up waiting for me. >_o
