This lovely mare, Gift of the Rare Gem, was originally going to be participating in the White Elephant game. However, when it was explained to her what all the game entailed, she um… politely declined. Something about not wanting her lovely hair to get mussed I think.

So she persuaded me to run a separate game, just for her. Gift wants to be certain that whomever she goes with understands her high standards and needs. So fetch your cameras for a photo scavenger hunt.

The Rules

- Please include a nametag with your username on it in each photo.
- The photos don't need to be taken around your house, they could be at work or just out wherever, as long as you take them yourself!
- If your photos are very large and you're unable to resize, please link to them instead.

My dice bag! The shimmering doesn't really come through in this picture, but the material is Japanese kimono fabric and it glitters in the light.

And the Christmas tree! We live in a little apartment, so our trees are always pretty small. This one is probably going out on the curb today... But right now it's still up and the lights are on.

A pile of pillows and stuffed animals. As a side note, this isn't even half of my stuffed animals/characters, the rest are in a box and I've just been to lazy to unpack them even though the remodeling in my room has been done for a week now.

A Gorgeous View - The picture I see every day in my office. I gaze into this door like it will lead me to a paradise. ^_^; Makes me really happy and relaxed and is a gorgeous view to me when stuck in an office

Something Shiny - A bracelet my mom made for me. It is so shiny when in the sun. I love it. <3



Holiday Tradition - Eggnog and cookies! Every holiday we get a bunch of eggnog (Some with Alcohol ;P) and cookies! Always something we look forward too here. ^_^

A gorgeous view - This to me is a gorgeous view. I can't wait for my Christmas Cactus to bloom every year. This year is got the most blooms it has ever gotten in its 7 plus years. I love it!


A tasty treat - Homemade Christmas sugar cookies. My grandma's recipe. I think they are the Best.


Something shiny or glittery - My grandpa get my sister angels every year. This is her for 2016


A holiday tradition - My grandpa buys me a Nativity every year. This was for 2016. He knows I like odd ones so he got me a puzzle.

- A gorgeous view: Mountains are almost a prerequisite for a gorgeous view. Unfortunately I didn't have a nametag handy when I was up skiing so here's another photo from my dragon calendar

- A tasty treat: It may not look that appetizing to me, but Rio loves her mash and pellets at breakfast

- Something shiny or glittery: Yay for shiny tinsel, almost as bad as glitter for getting everywhere!

- A holiday tradition: when I'm away from home I set up my little mini Christmas tree until school's done for the holidays and I can go home and decorate the real tree.
