Ah! That explains why I was confused - I didn't see the post on page 3, I only saw the initial post in this thread... which mentioned the 5 customs, and the 1-hour limit 'from the time of this post' but... was posted at 11:22pm sometime in 2009

But yay, that means I'm in the draw ^_^

I agree that this is a gentler, quieter way to do custom slots.. do you think I should keep doing them this way, or stick with first-come first-served, or just vary it?

I definitely like the time-limit draw way. Plus, with this system you can vary it to make it more or less exciting(/stressful, depending how people prefer their draws XD) - a 15-minute draw for a single slot would feel a lot more dramatic than a 1-hour 5 slot draw, for example.

Also, I just realised I've been sitting here casually eating salmon rolls while waiting for the results XD Hopefully it will bring me some luck!

I much prefer the draw method as well. Since I've got a very busy school and work schedule, I don't have the ability to check the forums all the time to try and stalk for slots. This is much easier and less stressful! <3

I like the quick-draw approach because you KNOW if you got the slot, and it's nice to have something that isn't random from time to time. But, I think changing it up is good for variety. ^_^

There are four single-Samanayr custom slots available!

Rather than first-come, first-served, if you're interested in a custom slot please post to the thread letting me know that you'd like one. This will be open for 1 hour from the time of this post, at which time I'll randomly select four people from all interested for the custom slots Good luck!

Please note that I will be away this weekend, so these customs will probably take slightly longer than usual. Any customs that aren't finished before Saturday will be finished after Monday, which is when we get back.

Please also note that some changes have also been made to the customs page:
