Trait name: "Patchwork" or "Zombie" (whichever applies best to the Samanayr world and the trait's origin)

Description: "Limbs and parts that are magically sewn in place."

The above is how I could see the trait described consistent with other traits. Basically, a limb or bit that did not originally belong to the Samanayr was added on in a macabre display of magic. I'm not sure what creature would be responsible for these traits, whether it might be an off-kilter Sharian or a Misery/Mystery/what have you with an undiscovered and disturbing elemental ability. In my mind's eye, I see the added limbs differing greatly enough from the original Sam for the trait to be extremely visible, possibly with little black stitches making the point where one bit ends and another begins extremely visible. Examples include:

"An off-white Samanayr with one purple leg stitched in place."
"A ground-bound black Sam with a haphazardly added green posterior wing."
"An Earth Elemental with one added Aquatic Fin."

Trait name: Poisonous Mane
Description: Kind of looking like a mane of dreadlocks, but the 'dreads' end in barbed end THAT CAN POISON THE LIFE OUTTA YA'. Can slither around kinda like snakes, kinda like Medusa's hair, if the Sam is more magically inclined, or can be swung at people to actually attack with them. (Can you smell a DEADLY HAIR FLIP?)
Inspired by the hair of a furry musician I love, Renard, when his girlfriend/artist Squeedge drew him as a pony once.

Thank you so much for your patience while I dithered over the results of this contest XD As always when I run these kinds of contest, there were so many fun, creative, and interesting entries and it made it very hard to decide! In the end I was able to narrow it down to the top nine, and ended up with four - yep, there's a tie for first place!

Congrats to Origami_Dragon with the Bony Crest trait and Aranea with the Bone Crown trait! I love the thought of both of these traits paired up with various horns, or mane types, or head wings, or with dinosaur mimics, or.. XD Please let me know what colors and gender you'd like for your Sams!

Second place is CassiaDawn with Shelled, and third place Bluestarwolf12 with Quills Congrats!

Wow, congratulations to all the winners! ^_^ I liked all of the possibilities listed suggesting what can be done with the Bony Crest and the Bone Crown on their own, as well as combined with other traits and features (ooh, dinosaur mimics! *.*). Now I'm intrigued to see what the two new official traits will look like on Samanayrs.
