Breeding Season Plans?

So, what is everyone plotting and planning to use for breeding season? I'm stuck on these 7:



If I get permission for the mare, I'll be using #7. If not, I dunno who else to pick! Anyone got any ideas or opinions? This is also posted on PI, for those that are on there, in the main Sam thread

Personally, I'm in love with pairs 3 and 7. <3

I still like 4 for the bright greens. But 7 is pretty too.

My own plans involve these two and possibly a color modiem.

Good luck with them Harroway! I think picking out a single pair is the most difficult part of breeding seasons! I know I debated between 4 different pairs before I settled on one.

I agree with you on that, Ora! Picking one pair is so hard when it comes around to breeding seasons. XD With the Mystic pair, I just love their colors. If the baby comes out as a Mystic, I'd be thrilled, but a regular Sammy would tickle me pink too! I just love their colors. <3

@Sera - Personally, I ADORE Clang of Copper Hooves (that's his name, right?). He's just spectacular. He'd be my pick for sure. XD

I have a question for people! When a Sam wears and amulet that grants them a trait, does the trait get passed down to the baby like it would genetically, or does it stay with the parent because it's granted by the amulet?

Found the post where Sushi introduced amulets with Singe!

Singe has a Trait Amulet which gives her the Combination Wings trait - her wings are a combination of feathered and faery. This trait also has a chance of being passed on to her offspring, even though it's not part of her original genetic makeup!

So Singe at least can pass down wings, though no idea if all amulets will do that.

I thought I knew who I wanted to apply with.. But I just saw the most gorgeous mare (she's a really pretty shade of golden yellow) so I might try to get permission from her owner.

I'm probably going to change my mind like a hundred times between now and when the breedings open up. x.x

I got permission from orasteele and will be using this pair:

Mystic of the Fire's Calling and Flare of the Oceans Sunrise

I am debating on using either a rarity and a trait modiem for a new trait or if a sa'grisayr is considered a rare species, a species and a rarity to make the foal a sa'grisayr.

The only things I'm sure of this season so far are that I don't want to use my own Song and I want a species I currently don't own. Otherwise, I'm currently floundering about.

Silvermoondragon, Sa'grisayrs are considered a rare species. That's the modiums we used to get Britain's Sa'grisayr mystic filly. ^__^
