First Digital Sam Art WIP

I have never really tried to draw a Sam before but I've had a list of fantasy sam ideas I've wanted to draw for awhile. Thanks to a very boring Chem lecture I finally got started with my list. I plan to work my way through it when I have time starting with this Mare- an aquatic sea dragon mimic. So far I just have a basic sketch and have started working on adding the fins

I know how you feel, lectures can get pretty boring, especially longer ones like we have on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Yeah, this one was worse than most. I have got all the major fins done now and made a few adjustments to the body. Time for a break before I start the smaller fins.

Eeee :3 looks like a seahorse... what are they called o.< Dragons? Seaweed dragons... Oh heck im horrible with names. ^^ I like though Very cool looking! Cant wait till its done

Ooh; a leafy sea dragon mimic would be absolutely stunning. And I have to say, for some reason I particularly love the chin beard 'leaves' in your drawing. ^^

haha, when I first saw it, it DID in deed remind me of a leafy sea horse... I think that was what you were after? Maybe? Or maybe it just reminds me of it... *hides*
