I never tear the paper either. I don't save the wrapping paper though. I just fold it up neatly and toss it.

Admittedly, if you unwrap a present nicely, you could try to reuse the paper...

I save it, mostly. Not to wrap other presents in though, just for projects, and sometimes to make cards out of. |D

I used to save wrapping paper, but haven't done that in ages, not since I was a kid. My mom threw away most of the wrapping paper I had saved.

Last year my mom made different sized fabric bags for in-family gift giving so she (or any of us really) wouldn't need to wrap things for us anymore. :D

They're really cool! Different fabric on the inside and out so they can be reversible with a draw string in the top to close them, and she made them in 3 sizes for gift size variety. x3

*picks absently at another layer of gift wrap*

ETA: Ooh, congrats Elven! :D

It's Silver Bark, a tradeable item you can swap for modiems (and possibly Sam Jobs or amulets if you can gather up enough tradeable items and wait for an event). :3

*pulls off a layer of blue paper with shiny silver snowflakes and stares at it contemplatively*

I used to reuse big enough pieces to cover books. They still had brown paper underneath for toughness, but the wrapping paper gave it pretty colors! XD
