She's a regular Samanayr, but with some very strange accessories. She's wearing what appears to be the skull of a small or young Oquiesa, a cloth harness with more bones strung from bits of blue cord, and a cuff in her tail with seems to be made of a segment of the spine. That blue eye looks pretty friendly, though.. what could her story be?

Here's yesterday's giveaway Sam - congrrats to Nighthenge



She has a metal helmet decorated with a large feather plume. She also has leather wrappings on her legs with her own feathers tied into them, and red gems set in gold bound into the top and bottoms of the wrappings. She has the feather-tufted tail trait. Enjoy

The gem in her helmet almost makes her look like she's got a third eye. Is she maneless as well by chance or is her mane just hidden from view by the angle and helmet?

Those are some cool accessories! Wraith looks quite scary with her skull helmet, and I love the feather plume, and feathered leg wrappings on Pride. Congrats!

I wish I could have been on to see them drawn, the internet here has been having some issues with the increased traffic of all the kids who are now off school. Luckily I managed to get on last night and post my design contest entry.

Glad you guys are enjoying the accessories-uped Sams They're a lot of fun to do! I even got a jewelry history book from the library to give me some inspiration for new accessories.

Work is greatly interfering with my ability to watch the draws, which makes me sad. ; ; Hopefully I'll manage to catch one, the Sams coming out of these have been lovely, and it's fun to watch!

Here's the random giveaway Sam from yesterday's Ustream - congrats to silvermoondragon She has a fiery feather headband, and she's a pretty special Sam, since she has the first Amulet!



Amulets are another magical item that can be traded from the Sharians. Unlike Modiems, Amulets are permanent items that give a particular effect to the Sam they're equipped to, and once equipped they can't be removed.

Singe has a Trait Amulet which gives her the Combination Wings trait - her wings are a combination of feathered and faery. This trait also has a chance of being passed on to her offspring, even though it's not part of her original genetic makeup!

I'll be adding more information about Amulets to Expedition HQ in the near future, and there may even be some available to trade for soon Unlike Modiems, there will be a limited number of Amulets available to trade at any particular time.
