Re: Blood and Magic - part 3 voting
Option 1!
I say they should leave now to go and get it over with. The longer they wait the older she gets and the more chance they have of missing the Rider. Who knows where he may ride off too! I think he would be home at night...Plus they have Odel who is great at seeing at night... plus it might be fun. In terms of safety... Ya they should probably wait but who knows what the misery will get into if they stay over night with the Enkeyns.
I say keep the adventure going!

Option 1 - Leave now, Odel seems pretty confident and it's really not that far.

Option 2 - Wait until morning, better safe than sorry.
It's just one night, and I agree that Rider will probably be happier to have company the next morning rather than late at night.

...is it bad that I almost chose 'Option 1' just because I think they'd end up crash landing somewhere, and I want to know what Sharp would do? *smiles sheepishly* I guess 'Option 2' just feels more reasonable for Glint, at least for me; and who knows, maybe the Enkeyns will have something to say to her too.

Seems safer all around, although I am curious what might happen if they went immediately.

Re: Blood and Magic - part 4 voting
Option 2 - Stay, apologize, and let the Enkeyns decide how to deal with Sharp. Surely they'll be merciful, since she's just a filly? But then, she did hurt one of their young..
Perhaps she'll learn that there are consequences to her actions. Hopefully she doesn't instead learn that she needs to be sneakier instead...
Actually I really want to vote for 1 and 2; explain that they're going to get help for her but still offer them a chance to decide what to do with her. But I don't think we're allowed to vote for two of them.

Option 1 - Stay, apologize, and explain that he's getting help for Sharp as soon as they leave in the morning. Hopefully they'll understand.
That way it will show that Glint is a responsible father to the the Enkyns, showing that he had noticed a problem and was trying to fix it, and may even help Sharp to realize that he does care for her and is trying to protect her from the Enkeyns... although that could also backfire and have her resenting him even more for having to help her out of the situation...

I like what Ori said about actions having consequences. If it's Glint doling out the reprimands/punishments Sharp might not take it as seriously.
I do hope we find out what caused the scuffle in the first place...

She definitely needs to learn a lesson, though I hope the Enkeyns will at least hear her side of the story. There has to be a reason for what she did. If she was just going to up and attack something, why not attack Glint or Odel, since they were right there in the cave with her? I think letting the Enkeyns handle it is the wisest course. Glint, though he is her father, may end up leaping to conclusions based on what she is, rather than making an objective decision.

I really agree with Origami's 1-2 dilemma, but if you can't vote for both, I'd have to go with 1- I just think it'd be too hard as a father not to try and explain things, even if you thought she should be punished.

It's always tricky when dealing with another culture; it could be that they even decide that Glint should reprimand his offspring, but allowing them to choose how the situation continues will prove that he's willing to respect their culture. Besides, Sharp needs to know that there are much bigger fangs than hers in the world...
