@ Seren - yes, ground 1 and 2 are different courses, 1 is around the hotsprings and 2 is on a mountain.

Looks like the holes are putting up a bit of a fight for some, but other cross with ease. Will this lead carry on?

Yah, I don't know... Randomness is weird. Sometimes I set an obstacle high and everyone passes easily, and others that are supposed to be easy stump some of the Samanayrs over and over again...

The race continues, when will the next obstacle appear?

A few stragglers seem to be caught up on the first obstacle still, but the next obstacle is right around the corner. What could it be?

And the next obstacle has now appeared! It seems a crowd of beauty pageant contestants and admirers were not informed of the race running through the hotsprings and are blocking up the area. How will our racers get through this unpredictable mass?

And now I'm picturing Spectrum hovering overhead watching in amazement as a race goes zooming through the pageant...

Oh my, those beauty pageant members better get out of the way!

Creative obstacle Silver!

Most racers seem to easily pass by the pageant, quickly coming across the next obstacle, a sleeping Enkeyn. Hopefully it doesn't get disturbed...

Spectrum might just try to follow...but since she constantly floats she's automatically disqualified from any ground race. It's a rare thing that her spikes ever touch the ground.

It looks like the end is in sight! Who will make it there first?

With a skid, Wanderer of the Endless Tundra stops at the finish line in first place. Two Samanayrs are close behind, and others not that much farther behind either.

Congrats Kagari! Who will win second and third now? :)

And with that finishes the first race. The very close tie for 2nd and 3rd was debated until a Sharian stepped in with to keep the peace. In second was Slice of the Sinister Skies, very closely followed by Journey of the Jeweled Plain. Only slightly after were Gleam and Gurgle.
