Halla barely waited before forcefully leaping off of the air elemental and into the shallow water. She almost 'oofed', pushed her head into the mare who was her 'owner' and then slid deeper into the cave and further into the water. She had no plans to leave the water anytime soon.
Depths rubbed her muzzle against her sisters. She took a deep breath and sighed softly, relief pulsing through her. "It is a bully." She pulled herself out of the water a bit more, and nuzzled her carefully. "What are we going to do?"

Sirocco frowned as the little mage construct took off, taking comfort from Depths' wet coat against hers. Her round hooves slid a bit on the rock as she slid closer to the finny delight that was her sister. She paused, glancing around the cavern, which was lit with faint gray light, before spotting some flickering light down the dark tunnel nearby. She murmured softly, cocking her head to the side, her blue eyes sparkling with curiosity.

Depths was happy to be near her sister again, to have those evil words be over and done with, and to be able to move on - it wasn't that hard, the two were as their elements were - fluid and ever changing - and accommodating. So when she heard the murr of what could have been words that died in her sister's throat, curiosity grew in her mind. She turned her wildly adorned head, looking in the direction of her sisters eyes, noticing the flickering light that had no doubt captured her attention, and felt the wonder of an adventurer's - nay, this time, it was the investigator's, itch, welling inside of her.
"What is it?"

The light was not the pale, steady, unearthly glow of an Illiayr like she had glimpsed from afar at some of the races their birth Song attending, but flickered and danced on the walls. It was both magical and real at the same time, and Sirocco's interest was piqued. She glanced and saw a small rivelet running along side the stony path, which perhaps could be trespassed by her dear gem-backed sister. She chirred softly, eyes dancing, giving her an answer, a delighted answer, one of the best answers she could give!
"I have no idea!"

Of course she knew when her sister was beginning to scheme something wonderful. Was wonderful the right word? The way that she was looking along towards something that Depths couldn't quite figure out - the slip of water, oh yes, she noticed the look her sister gave that meager pathway. She was readable, in a way that only twins could read, and it was delightful. She laughed, clear and true, slapping her ever restricting fins on the sand and pebbles of their cave as her small familiar glowered up from beneath the water's surface.
"Then what are we waiting for? Lets go!"

Sirocco had to stifle a note of ringing, bell-like laughter, which would echo in the tiny space and give their location away. Instead, she glided forward, carefully channelling so she didn't have to flap her large wings and accidentally buffet her darling sister on the head, or risk bumping against her brilliantly curved horn. Her blue eyes lit up as they peeked around a corner, seeing two cast shadows of creatures of nightmares on the wall, with red, orange, golden, purple, blue and green light flickering, casting shadows and lights interchangeably on the pair of rainbow twins.

It was difficult for the deep-water loving elemental to follow her sister up the slope. She manage it, of course, forcing some extra water to stay with her so that she could use it in a tight spot. Halla had been told to stay - well, that was an extreme overstatement, since Halla herself had decided she was going to stay in the deep water where it was safe, though she did follow her companion to the edge of the mini-waterway, watching with incredulous eyes as she made her ascent up the sloping landscape. Of course, Depths tried the best she could to not slap a fin against any rock in the shallow areas, and made sure to dampen the different sound that she made in the rushing water as best she could - she was certainly out of her element, no pun intended. She reached the corner just after her sister, stifling her slightly huffy breaths sulking at the fact that this waterway was only barely engorged after the heavy onslaught of rain just earlier. She looked around the corner, her eyes widening as she focused in on the flames that spiraled and danced like living things. She narrowed her eyes, honing in on the excitement that grew in the air around her as she tried to better make out the creatures that owned those flames, and could only just make out faint outlines that were overpowered with wild heat.

Sirocco glanced back at her sister, pushing away her curiosity for a split second to look her over protectively. She did look a little tired... Sirocco supplied a small breeze behind her sister's brook of water to keep the water from slipping back due to the dreadful force of gravity. She flicked her long tasseled tail, looking concerned still, reaching over to gently pet her sister's head with a round red hoof.
A sound caught her delicate bat ears suddenly, as one of the ferocious figures growled. Rather than shrink back in fear, she poked her nose out further, bright blue eyes peering about, squinting slightly at the bright flickering lights, as a soft howl of swirling wind filled the cavern, and Siro eagerly whistled to her sister.
Cyclone's large cupped ears pricked at the odd whistle, which was not created by one of his breezes. He looked away from the infuriating mare, who seemed to flicker back and forth about whether or not she tolerated him. It was most frustrating. He clacked a violet hoof on the stone floor, his pale eyes peering past the red figure towards the back of the cavern, where the rocks were bunched up.

Depths was more at ease with the slight help that her sister's winds brought feeling much more comfortable in the water now that both their magics were holding it up - aiding her in the slightest. She gave her sister a look at the pat, eyes rather narrowed as she kept silent in their investigation. She wasn't THAT tired - and if she was, then she most certainly was a disgraceful Elemental, to say the least.
Her eyes wandered back to the flickering lights, where a sound hissed out from its place further within the cave. She twitched, arching out her neck around the corner that kept their bodies safe, her fins quivering with curiosity. Grey skin twitched at the whistle, her fins rubbing against one another in a whispery response, her attention focused intently at the strange forms. If only they could get closer to the lights...
Purgatory puffed up at the whistling sounds - which wasn't something that nature made on its own, for that she was certain. Smaller eyes narrowed as she focused on the distant opening, where her element could pull up perfectly clear images made of heat, which caused her to puff with an annoyed, scowling look. She stood up, flames heating up ever more, one by one stretching out each leg as it purred with delight at being used again, tired of the cold floor it had been forced to lay on. She slowly looked towards the stallion, her large eyes opened wide as she regarded the situation, for a moment, before giving the stallion a look.

Sirocco was entranced with the dancing lights, like a million tiny fireflies. Angry fireflies. Her head wings flapped once as she tried to contain her excitement at something new, before she ducked her muzzle to brush against her sister's damp cheek, whispering excitedly. "Should we just go say hello?"
Cyclone returned a rather skeptical look to the mare, though his suspicions were now made sure by her reaction. Something was making noise, and it was disturbing their witty banter- or rather, irritated rambling conversations. This mare of flicker and flare was sharper than Sa'krien claws, it would seem. He let out a tiny whoosh of air that almost could count as a laugh, before gliding over on an air current with a faint hiss of a voice. "I do not care for watching from afar unless I am doing the watching. Is it the same for you?" He gave her a sidelong glance before remarking amusedly. "Though I'd not decline being watched by a quartet of red eyes for a bit."

"Well if we can, why not? I mean, the worst they could do is make us go away!" Depths trilled softly, looking excitedly up at her sister. Her eyes fluttered at the touch of her sister's muzzle, looking thrilled.
She laughed at the stallion - openly, outright, almost sharply, as if the sound was not frequented. She gave him a look, all four eyes focused on him with an incredulous expression on her colorful. "It is as though you truly wish to pluck at my flames!" She turned her gaze to he two figures, talons scritching at the floor, before six legs set off to head for the opening. "It is the same." She said after a moment, her tattered bat ears twitching almost dismissively into the flames that lept up from her body. She shook her wings and settled them again at her sides, holding her head high as if to stave off the questions the stallion gave, which were growing in hilarity.

Sirocco nodded at her sister's very wise words, though she could have countered that if they had been Oquesias, they could have done damage. Nonetheless, she nuzzled her sister again, before peeking her muzzle around some rock, peering down the length of the cave to the two figures who sat closer to the entrance, where the rain was pounding down from.
Cyclone paused, tapping a violet hoof against the gritty floor before saying silkily. "I would surely appreciate a chance to pluck at them, if it meant getting a sense of your heat." He clacked his teeth together, looking amused at himself and his ridiculous statements. if someone had pointed it out his flirting, he would have dismissed them immediately, because he never ever flirted- why would he? Still, if it meant he could make her laugh and get to listen to that husky, melodic voice of hers. Perhaps a song she sang would be pleasing to his discerning ears.

"What are you waiting for?" Depths said as a the moment dragged on. She was curious to see who was in the cave, glimmering so enchantingly! With a slight bob of her head, she thumped the back of her sister's head - gently, of course. Her fins quivered slightly as her eyes roamed towards the waterway that she would need to take to get any closer - she would need to concentrate for this exciting encounter.
Purgatory paused, once again, and looked at the stallion as her voice echoed the gruff amusement that she felt. "You want to feel my heat? Well, surely you're allowed to wonder, it is brilliant. But we are dealing with our spies before there can be any indulging." She shook her head, flames brightening for a moment, before she gave a curt flick of her tail and started towards the two watchers again - his words wouldn't stop her legs from moving again, that she would make sure of. Eyes narrowed as the two beings slowly grew more and more detailed...
