Ok, I will be starting the race again the same time this afternoon/evening, 3pm PST. Hopefully the internet will behave this time :S

I'll start it off by finishing off the last round from yesterday(if you have not yet posted an answer for that you have until 2:30pm PST to do so) and I'll give an hour to see who's around to play. After that I think I'll shorten the rounds to last until those present have responded.

In response to ElvenArcher's question about leaving:
If you have to leave during the race, you are welcome to que up a few responses per round/turn(SamX will run easy, easy, then hard) but you may not put in conditions (run easy until SamX passes the obstacle then run hard) or you can leave your racer with the default role. If you return and we're not quite through your que yet, you are welcome to cancel/change it up, but please make note that that is what you're doing in bold. I will do my best to catch this but it may not be possible if I'm in the middle of uploading/posting that round.

I'll be around... unless I fall asleep. I didn't get good sleep last night and my dog had a vet appointment early this morning. I was going to go back to bed after doing some dishes but I haven't been able to.

After a bit of a pause, our racers continue their trek and come across the first obstacle a strong cross winds which appears to be stumping our forward racers.

Snowflake watches the wind buffet the racers ahead of her and winces sympathetically. "Oooh, thayt looks hayrsh~" She quickly decides to take it easy until the winds die down.

Glide notices some racers having trouble up ahead. She decides to take it easy for now.

Prize decides to continue at a normal pace. She's not ready to slow up too much.

Parting decides to pick it up a bit to a more normal pace.

A few racers manage to make it through the obstacle as a few more get buffeted by the winds.

Parting decides to keep to her normal pace.

Prize breathes a sigh of relief as she gets over the first obstacle. She decides to take it Easy for a round.

Squinting as her efforts seem to just blow her in circles, Snowflake decides to put in a little more effort and go at a Normal pace in an attempt to actually move.

Glide is going to try a harder pace this round.

And our racers all pass through the cross breeze, but when will the next obstacle come?

Prize decides to give it another burst of effort deciding to try harder this time.

Parting sees all the other racers rush past her and decides to go as hard as she can.

A bit windblown but otherwise unscathed, Snowflake pokes a cheerfully cheeky tongue out back in the direction of the strong cross winds and powers her wings Hard to try and catch up with the front runners!

Glide slows back to a normal pace.
