Hmm, but we haven't made it down to the present yet.. I wonder what else is going to be hidden in the layers?
EDIT: Congrats to Twiztid, Frost on the Autumn Pumpkin is heading home with you
D'awwwwww, so cute!!! Thanks! *settles the little Sam on her shoulder and digs into more paper*

Well, it depends on how many times you're willing to fold it... What if these were just 500 origami shapes taped all over it? XD

I hate when wrapping paper gets all static-y
I forgot to vacuum before I started wrapping today... Static-y wrapping paper + shedding dog = eww gross

If there were 500 origami shapes all over it, it would be too pretty to tear into!

I agree. I couldn't tear into pretty origami and as previously stated, I really enjoy shredding paper.

Oh no! Wrapped into the layers! XD Poor sam!
Well, depending how small it is (it is a sam) you could likely use 1 roll for the first couple dozen wrappings... but the bigger it gets, the more each rewrap would take... so you'd likely end up so big you'dd need more! Like the whole 'folding a piece of paper, if possible, would be up to the moon' thing! XD *jumps on next layer*

I usually get my Mom concert/theater tickets. Still not sure what I'm going to do as my Dad will likely have surgery next month a few days before the 2 she wants to go to happen.

Somehow parents are so difficult to shop for. My dad just says he doesn't want anything. It's like give me something to work with at least.

Mom's having surgery in January too, so I keep trying to think of something she can use/enjoy during her convalescence... *turns next layer into a wrapping paper hat*

If she's got a Kindle/Nook, you could always get her gift cards for that! Or gift cards to an actual bookstore, haha XD
Massage gift cards are always popular around here as well >> Spa ones would be too, I imagine!
Gift cards for date nights as well, or stuff that she uses often are some other ideas.
