Buying a house (hopefully)!

I mentioned that we were house-hunting, but we're found our place We absolutely love it - in a nice area, right by the elementary school, lots of bedrooms, nice fenced yard, and the basement is set up for a registered day care so it's all nice and finished (most of the places we've looked at have had unfinished or hideous old 70s basements). We put in an offer on Sunday and they accepted!

So now we're on the road to purchasing a house XD Signing a million things, a meeting with the bank today, need to set up other appointments.. there's so much to do! It's very exciting but very scary at the same time (a lot like being pregnant, in fact XD).

Should all go well, we'll have possession on March 27th. Wish us luck!

Congratulations on your find! My mom is currently looking for houses too but hasn't been able to find one she likes within her price range so it's great you two found something you like.

I'm sure it's much more exciting than renting!

So far so good! We've met all the conditions and now we just have to wait for possession at the end of the month Hooray!

Of course, this means we have to pack everything up again.. ugh. But at least it's for the last time for a very long time!

We got the keys last night, hooray! Today we're doing some cleaning and maintenance stuff and finishing up packing, tomorrow we start moving stuff over, and on Monday movers are coming to take care of the furniture and large stuff. I hate moving, but I'm glad it's going to be over soon, and we're so happy with the new place! The internet is also being hooked up on Monday so I won't be gone for a long time, yay XD

All our stuff is now in the new house and we spent last night here It's wonderful! And I just figured out this morning that there's a cherry tree just outside the bedroom window - I can't wait for it to bloom!

Right now we're working on cleaning the old place, which is one of the things I hate the most about moving >:[ We got most of it done this afternoon thanks to help from Mrs Sushi Mom-in-law and hopefully we can wrap it up tonight. Phew!
