Icon draw, round 2! Pickups for oak, Ori, and SunBlind!

I'm trying to get some more icon examples together, so I'm giving away some free ones The icons will be done in colored pencil with a digital background, like my current icon! Here's some other examples too:



I'll keep requests open for a couple of days, and then randomly select some characters to make icons of.

Rules and info
- Not everyone will be receiving an icon, just the randomly-selected folks!
- No copyright/trademarked characters. You're welcome to use Samanayrs as characters if you'd like, for their reference you can just link to their image!
- I'm willing to give any species or creature or whatnot a try, so don't be shy!
- I'm working with colored pencils so I do have a restricted palette, but I try to match colors as closely as I can.
- I'm not sure exactly how many I'll be doing or how long it'll take me to do them, but it shouldn't be more than a couple of weeks.
- These will be headshots only, so a full-body description/ref isn't necessary.

Okay, since I know I have er, ODD characters, I'll put two two options for you. Whichever you think you could do better (If I'm chosen xD; ), go for it.

I'll give this a try this time. You do cute icons. Never really had many people try to draw Ori.

Character reference/description: 1 2 3 4
Ignore the fangs on 2, that was a Halloween icon I did, but it makes a good headshot reference. She's basically a furry beige dragon with a golden mane, catlike ears, two sets of earrings, dark horns, green belly, and reddish brown eyes. Her mane is usually on her left side with just a few strands wandering over to the other side of her neck. The forelock/bangs are usually in her eyes somewhat.
Background color: Peridot?
Expression/mood: Puzzled or curious, somewhat shy or reserved but interested.

Your icons look great, Sushi! I don't suppose you'd like try draw a canine? ;D Owl Feathers has been with me for...ever. Whatever you pick, though, they're going to look great!

Character reference/description: Owl Feathers is a wolf character; brown nose and ears, hoop earring in the left ear and stripes on his neck.

Heehee, yes I do! Have about 80 Stablemates, and maybe 10-15 bigger ones. Of course, most of my stablemates are all wrapped up still, no where to display them XD

I have... one stablemate. xD I used to have like 12 or so, but they all broke in like one move D: Opened up a box to find all the legs snapped off them. It was awful.

However, together, Dapples and I have about 4 stablemates, 10 classics, and like... 100 traditionals? Right Dap? I haven't counted recently. XD

Definitely sounds like fun

Character reference/description: I'd love a headshot of SunBlind who is a vampiric dragon. She has a narrow wedge shaped head, black scales, red eyes, two silver horns point backwards (like the sample sam you have for the double horns trait). Fangs are of course visible
Background color: Anything that looks good with her black form but isn't "daylight". Maybe something night/moonlight-ish. Deep red would also work nicely.
Expression/mood: I'll leave it up to you but I'll give some info as to what she is and isn't. She would never be silly, she's quite formal. She can be gentle and caring (being the Realm Keeper of all the creatures I've adopted over the years) but is quite capable of getting really pissed and putting those fangs (and claws) to good use. She's often thoughtful, calm, and can be mischevious at times.

Character reference/description: clicky for image There she is in her human form. She is also a dragon, though I don't have a ref. image for that. You can draw her as any species or animal or Sam or whatever you want, I usually try to take her colors and put them into a pet species on the pet sites I frequent. For example, here she is as a Drylis on Aywas, with a little purple flair thrown in compliments of my lair partner (whose favorite color is purple, and who did the design)
Background color: Gold
Expression/mood: Wicked. Like she can't wait to start some trouble!
