I believe that this list will come in handy for some people in the sorta-near future. ^_^

Below are a list of current Songs with either Open or Semi-Open permission with at least the stallion and one mare not requiring a PM to breed. This is especially relevant for any newer members who might not feel comfortable asking people to breed with their Sams. <3 I've made special note if the Song caters to only one species in case someone's looking for that in particular.

And of course, keep in mind that tons of people (me included) are usually more than happy to grant permission via PM! You just might run into a case where you're PMing someone who isn't around anymore and you don't want to run out of time.

As to the benefit of their not having produced a foal... well. For one thing, it increases the variety of the "Sam gene pool"! For another, I think it's going to have an effect soon maybe...?

I will be keeping this list up-to-date as I'm able! As you can see, there's tons of untapped breeding potential.

Alright... I am going to do my best to keep this list updated as a handy breeding reference! Feel free to state your preferences with regards to your Songs on this list (how receptive you are to requests, etc). And if there's one of yours that's here and you know for sure you're never letting anyone breed, or at least not until you have a foal, then just lemme know and I'll remove it. I tried to avoid the ones with obvious notes or no images available.

Pretty much any of my songs listed as closed, I'm open to requests, except for Song of the Forgotten Rhythms, Song of the Endless Clouds, and Song of the Quiet Embrace. Those are currently completely closed to requests.

I know I don't have many Sams in Songs, but I'm open to inquiries with those who are

Any songs my stallions own, or any of my mares in songs, require permission to breed with BUT I'm pretty lenient. I just want to be notified - especially about these songs with no foals yet - because I have plenty of Breeding Modiems and if someone asks for permission, I like to add some modiems to the breeding so I can get a foal for myself, too.

I think I'll be a lot less restrictive/possibly open some of my songs once I get foals out of some of them ;P

I am usually just ecstatic when people ask to use my Sams for breedings. The only one I'm being protective of right now is Lagoon, because I want a foal from her and Fathom like... a lot. A lot a lot lot. Yeah.

I'm always open to esquires and will usually give permission, especially for song without foals.

And all of my Sams in these Songs are actually open permission, though if someone wanted to PM me, I'd be very open to that too. *grins, and goes back to wondering what a foalless effect could be*

I am always open to requests for my Songs (and the mares I have in others' Songs) I just like to know who is being applied with, and when, so I can keep track - and make sure several people aren't trying for the same pair at the same time, since that wouldn't work very well!

Yep, that's something you can do yourself! Just log into the database, select "Update Song" and change the song's status in the drop down menu.

WolfStorm - I recommend checking with Xenon first if you plan to make it completely open, as Cycle belongs to her. Or you can just make it Semi-Open and put a note in the Song description that Cycle requires permission. ^^

Xenon's definitely still around - I'm sure she'd respond to a PM asking.
