You want to know what begins?! Life!

Not only did I graduate last month... I have a job! Amazon and I are moving to Colorado! O_O

I had to share because... OMG job! I've been filling out applications since February, didn't get a single call back until last week... when I got THREE. And the one I wanted the most is the one that said yes!

...omg omg OMG! XD

So much yay!





Okay. I'm done now. Well, not really... but done inflicting upon you. Or... something like that. XD

Congrats! Where in Colorado? My sister and her husband live near Fort Collins

Brighton, CO. Its about half an hour north east of Denver and an hour south of Fort Collins. Funny thing is, Oak had applied for two jobs in Fort Collins but got turned down for both of them. But it's okay, cause Brighton looks awesome and the school looks awesome and everything is awesome!

It was so crazy yesterday... the school actually called back two days early of when they said they would (cause ya know... Oak is just that awesome), but Oak had gone to go see a movie cause she was feeling a little down. Not five minutes after I got home from dropping her off I get a call, take down the call back number and then.... wait. x___X

And now we're all in a tizzy of cleaning/packing and figuring out plans and getting ready to go apartment hunting and calling family and just... everything!

Guys, that is just so awesome! I've always wanted to see Colorado. I've noted the mountains in passing flying over or around, but we're always headed to Cali. When you get out there, could you maybe post pictures? That would be super-cool!

Im so happy for you both! My family was actually supposed to visit the Brighton area to see friends in August- we don't have the funds to make the trip this year though. XD What kind of job is it?

Absolutely Jenn! We'll be doing a lot of photo-taking when we go out to share with friends and family. We can totally post a few of the more scenic shots online


And Seren Oak will be a high school science teacher, teaching physical science (freshman) and Earth & Space science (upperclassmen).

Brighton has more than 320 days of sunshine every year, I can't wait to take kids outside and do astronomy without all that nasty cloud stuff in the way.

How wonderful for you both! I hope you guys have such a great life there- also, you guys are going to have such awesome outdoor opportunities!
