Samanayrs

One of the things I'm doing this month is working on Sams for next month's gift-giving events*. Last year I tried doing one of most of the species, but I've decided not to do that this year. So I'm wondering, which species (or combination of species) would you like to see?

*these are the Sams that are given away for free

Illiayrs and Sa'kriens get my vote! ^___^

Aboreal and Illiayr!

Northern Minayr, or Mystic Minayr

Minayr. Need more Minayr. Definitely.
Aboreals are also fun, and I'd love to see some unusual combos done with them... Aquatic Aboreal, Aboreal Kirin, Integrated Aboreal... Ooooh, all the possibilities. ^O^
And anything integrated or damaged is love. So, soo much love.

Any that have less well-loved traits. Meaning traits that aren't as popular in the database XD

I wanna vote for Lamanayrs again... There are tons of 'normal' samanayrs that have wings, but poor Lams seem to be a rare-common species.

Minayrs!! I love Minayrs, and we need more of them!!
Other than that... Arboreals... Or Northern/Aquatics

I'd love to see Minayrs, Arboreals, and some more Aquatics- Northern and Normal! ^^ It'd also be fun to see some Intergrated Samanayrs.

As for combinations, I like that Arboreal, Minayr, and Aquatic Combined with species like Northerns, Deserts, Kirins, and Sakrien's would be fun. Maybe a Minayr Mystic? Or a tiny little Minayr Sibyl! That'd be cute....

Tribals! I love the ones I've seen so far - So colorful. And I'm a sucker for aquatics.

Aquatics, and maybe an elemental or two? I haven't seen a fire elemental in ages...

I'd love to see Tribals, Intergrated, and Lams.

As a magic-using species, is it even possible for Minayr to be combined with other magic species (ie. Mystic, Sibyl, Elemental)? I was under the impression that they couldn't be?

Oh- I didn't even think of that, the Minayrs being magic users!

I'd love to see a Tribal Misery or a Desert Illiayr! Or a Tribal Sa'krien would be a neat one to do!

I think, seeing as there is a Minayr Shifter, they could probably be combined with Mystic or Sibyl. :3 Probably not Elemental, I don't think they can be combined with anything, really.

I forgot about the Minayr Shifter. I wonder if they're able to teleport while shifted *ponders a bunny disappearing and reappearing all over a field* XD!

Well, we know for a fact that Shifter of the Enchanted Gardens does have the basic abilities inherent in both species, however I'm unsure if she is actually capable of teleporting while shifted into a different form at the same time... Only Sushi can provide the answer to our inquiry for sure.

Agreed! It'd be really cool if my Minayr Shifter could accomplish such a feat.

Now, as for the free Sams in next month's gift-giving events, I want to add my vote to the growing consensus for more Minayrs and the various combos which are possible in this species, especially stallions. The gender ratio is woefully unbalanced with mares far outnumbering at 9-to-2. Also, the fairy-like Sams are enchantingly adorable, and would make for great stocking stuffers due to their petite size! XD

Besides Minayrs, I'd also be happy to see Sibyls, or Kodylas, or Integrated Illiayrs as presents found underneath the Holiday Cactus.

Isn't the Sam gender ratio supposed to be 4 mares to 1 stallion? Min ratio looks just about perfect...

Anyways, I'd love to see desert combos! Seeing Yuiven mention Kodylas suddenly makes me want to see what a Desert Kodyla might look like! All that fur would be unpleasant in the desert...but maybe it could have a lion cut?

Just about anything would be lovely though. Maybe some more aboreals or aboreal combos too; they seem a tad underrepresented.

Kirin and Northerns

I LOVE kirins and well... I dont feel there is enough belly mane out there 8I

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone Lots for me to think about when I'm done with the existing outlines and the breedings!

Minayrs are a little different from the other species that use magic since they can be be combined with other magical species, Mystics and Miseries etc. Although they're technically magic users it's a very small part of what they are and leaves room for other types of magic, if that makes sense XD
