Did anyone make it to the stores today? We get some Black Friday sales in Canada but I don't think it's anything like in the US XD

XD No, I got an offer to go to Best Buy with some cousins and family friends, but I told them that they were crazy. Though no one died this year! Blessings!

We went to Walmart on Thursday afternoon to do some last shopping for Turkey-day and people were already getting ready for the madness at 5. Cops were stationed in electronics, employees were roaming the store in packs and families were camping out in the aisles. Oak had to go out again this afternoon but apparently by that time things had calmed down.

I don't think I'll ever brave the madness of Black Friday if I can help it.

I actually ended up having to head out on Friday while Amazon was cooking and it was surprisingly... pretty empty. I mean, there were more people than usual but not the ravening hordes that you think of in association with the day. No one was getting Maced or trampled!

I think almost everyone in our city, at least, decided to catch the 8pm Thursday Pre-Black-Friday sales.

We don't do Black Friday in this house XD Though my mom did drag us into Roots so that she could get a new wallet (since our dog ate all her other ones)
