Confused!

Ok, so I was a user on the old forum which when I went back says it's inactive. What happen?? Anyway, now that it seems things have been resurrected, how do I get my Sams in the database and myself register-ified? I see that Jenn must have dug through the bowels of the internet to find my new domain to my Sams So, what else do I need to do to get back in the game here?

Etou, let'see. . . i replied to my Sam ID thread with my updated links and then updated my Songs and replied to their threads in the Inactive Songs thread. Then i registered them-- the Songs-- in the DB. The original Sams are being uploaded by Sushi and given ID numbers, so you shouldn't need to put any of them in the DB.

Oh, you may want to make a login to the database itself, though, so you can input your Songs and edit your Sams later. ^^ But i'm really only just now getting back in myself, so i could be wrong about wot needs to be done. . . ^^;;;

Hi Sera ^^ Well, I never had any of my own songs so I guess I don't have to worry about that. So are we calling Skysong "Sushi" now? I'm just gonna wanna eat every time I type it.

Ah, there's also a big following on PI, if you have an account there. That's the limit of my PI knowledge, though. xD;

If you don't have any Sams that look like this, cert-wise:



but instead look like this, with no cert:

Then you don't have to worry about inputting them into the db at all Sushidragon/Skysong is inputting all of the older ones into it herself *gives cookies to Sushi*


To create a db account so you can access all of you Sams and items, just go here: http://sushi-dragon.com/sotr/database.php, all the way to the bottom will be a link that says "Register". Then just type in your name and a password, and you're all set Just make sure that you use the same owner name that your Sams have, as if you don't, they won't show up as yours, and you can't edit any info for them.

Once you've got an account name, you can log in and go to your Member Control, where you can see all of your Sams, edit your Sams, see all of your Songs, edit your Songs, and see any items that you might have. *whew*

Yeah mine are kinda ancient compared to the new ones. I love the certs though... Nah, I am not into PI. Don't you have to pay for an account? My recent Pokemon fixation stole my money and I spend money on Howrse.com plus my dog gives me puppy eyes for all the stuff she wants off the shelves at the pet store... siiigh

Hello and welcome back

The old Samanayr forums were shut down because a) nobody was using them and I wanted to start fresh with the current installation of phpBB, and b) there were a loooooot of spam accounts registered XD; I don't see the current forum going anywhere for a while, though!

As was mentioned, you don't have to do anything to get your Sams into the database, I'll be getting all of them in there eventually XD

And I do mainly go as Sushidragon now, but some people still call my Skysong and I still answer to both XD

HOOOOOkkaaay. I guess I will have to try and sit patiently. What happens with defunct Songs? Will they disband or like, still be around but you can breed even though the site isn't up for that particular song anymore? Also, can I gets me some new Sams too?

*looks over the sam db* Makes me want to bring back my creature db even though I'm sure many of my crits are long gone from people's pages.

Well, there are a lot of open songs; you can check this thread or check on the database-- there is conveniently an option to search for open or semi-open Songs. ^^ Whenever Sushi does uStream, she gives away a random Sam to those logon to watch, so it's still possible to get Sams from there. ^^

i'm not sure wot happens to Songs that remain defunct; i know my pages went down for awhile, but they're up again now, so. . . lol

Gads, i loved your adoptions! ^^ i think any of yours i had, however, were lost with my domain in 2004. >>;; i'm still looking for my other desktop, though, so i may have some missing files on there.
