Samanayrs

This is kind of a long shot, but does anybody happen to have the images of the original Song of the Rainbow hanging around anywhere? I believe I have pretty much all of the Samanayr images in one place or another on my HD, but for the life of me I can't find the original Song of the Rainbow!

The original members were:

Catcher of the Rainbow's Call (stallion)
Runner of the Umbra Streak
Sighter of the Soul's Depth
Laughter of the Running River
Hider among Amber Dawns

I'd love to be able to see them again XD If all else fails I'll hunt down the original drawings when I'm unpacking!

Were they all your samanayrs Sushi? or were they fostered out?

You know, I never fostered any Sam offspring from any of the Rainbow Hotsprings Songs *g*

I know I fostered out the members from one of the Song of the Rainbows, but I think it was the second or third one XD

I'd love to see them again too - and get some more breedings out of them! A long time ago I did breedings from all of the different Song of the Rainbows, and I remember it was a lot of fun

That would be a fun draw for people to enter into! And then you could do an event with all of those unowned sams that you've made too on the U-stream. >_>

Maybe something like a Summer extravaganza type thing done on the Sam forum! It would keep the activity up and encourage some members on PI to become an active member of the Sam forum as well! ^__^

What exactly is the story behind all the different songs of the rainbow?

Like how come there are so many different ones? What happened to the old ones or are they still around?

@orasteele - That would be a lot of fun And it's actually a possibility, since I have a lot of time on my hands right now!

@silvermoondragon - The in-character explanation is that the active Song of the Rainbow eventually steps down from their responsibilities for various reasons, such as age or wanting to live without being unofficial leaders of the Song of the Rainbow hotsprings. The OOC explanation is that eventually I get tired of doing breedings from that particular Song and want some fresh blood to play around with XD

ahh, ok. That's understandable. At least the old songs didn't get eaten by Oquiesas or something like that.

They would be delicious, but I do like to bring them back for occasional breedings every so often XD

Well, the forum header does say Samanyrs taste like chicken. So obviously Sushi's thought about this before.

But...can't help on the finding of the original Song of the Rainbow...I didn't know about Sams back then I'm afraid...
