Hope everyone's having a candy- and costume-ful Halloween Stay safe tonight, everyone!

Baby Sushi wanted to be Rainbow Dash for Halloween, so I worked on his costume all weekend.. now he's decided he doesn't want to wear it and doesn't want to go trick-or-treating XD Oh well! I did manage to convince him to wear it long enough to get some photos. The hoody I used isn't the right Rainbow Dash blue but oh well XD



And #2 is being a Companion Cube, but I don't have any photos of him yet XD

Aww, he doesn't want to go trick or treating? I'd go in his place but I'm a little too old now...

I'll probably be wearing my costume while I answer the door for kids and run the Samanayr race, but my main Halloween event is going to be a mini Halloween convention this weekend.
I miss trick-or-eating with my roommates in Guelph though, we would all pick and theme and dress up together and then go out will a whole crowd of people through the streets of Guelph collecting non-perishable food items for the food bank.

Silver, that is SUCH an awesome costume.

I'm dressed up as a generic gypsy-esque character for work right now. Rummaged through the closet until I could find enough Ren Fest remnants to make it sassy. I'll be handing out candy to the kidlets with a rat on my shoulder this evening.

I went trick or treating myself, as a lone seventeen year old with no one to go with because my mom and her boyfriend wanted candy XD I was a pumpkin witch (had an orange shirt, drew on a green stem, put on a cape and a little feathered witch hat)! It was kind of raining XD

We didn't do much for Halloween this year, had a couple groups of kids come by. But mostly it was cold and rainy :S

I hung out and passed out candy to people, and made cookies. My hallmate decided to play a prank on us last night so I was too tired to really go out.... XD Though I should next year, since I've never been trick or treating before!

awwww.....tooo cute! I hope you all had a great halloween ^_^ I had to work BUT I work at disney so I got to see kids and adults all dressed up in all kinds of stuff. @.@ *mind blowen* lol

He ended up changing his mind and having a blast going trick-or-treating, which made me happy

@ amazon - Yep, a Gryphon, and yes, I made it myself(with some sewing help from my mom and electronics help from my dad). I'm still working on front talons so it looks more like a traditional Gryphon and the character, but I wanted to be able to flap the wings myself rather than have wings just hanging out on my back.
@ Jaes - I guess it's been a little over a year now since I started working on it, but it's been off and on during my spare time. It's still a work in progress, so who knows how long until I'm finished completely, maybe never :O
@ Sushi - that's great he changed his mind and had some fun, that's what Halloween is for! And who wouldn't have a blast trick-or-treating in such a great costume! And thanks!

I just wore my old Werewolf costume and answered to door. We love halloween at our house but this year it was quite boring.

What did you make the feathers out of? I have been brainstorming about a costume with feathered wings but I don't know what to use.

@ElvenArcher - I just used fun foam with spraypaint for colour/markings, and then modge podge on top to seal and finish them. I've attempted to put together a tutorial on making the wings here: http://silvermoondragon.exofire.net/Tut ... Wings.html if you're interested. I would suggest against using the modge podge in this situation as it made the wings a little tacky and they've been sticking together after storage(which makes some of the paint peel off)

I was a vampire! Mostly so I could wear my fangs for the first time ever. Also I found this fantastic black velvet dress that was just too perfect to pass up.
