I wanted to pop a thread up just so if people had any questions they could drop them here. What I want to know is...

Last year we did a lot of art exchange, usually of the same Samanayr for people. (i.e. I got a lovely bunch of art of my Eve of the Moon's Chill!)

So, I wanted to know, if you could have art of one of your sams, which one would it be for this holiday season? :3 (I'm guessing other artists would like this info as well XD)

Oh, a question for me alone XD: Do you have a favorite fairytale/story or favorite character? :3 You don't have to answer it, just curious if you have one in particular!

<3 So excited for this christmas and the card exchange, it's going to be awesome!

Oh boy... I don't know which of my Sams I would want art of haha. Being as I only have 2 and I don't have art for either of them yet, I think I'll let you guys pick.
I will try my best on drawing art for the Card Exchange but I don't know how well I will do with my sore hands

Hmmm... A favorite fairy-tale... I don't know, the first thing that comes to my mind when I think about it is Beauty and the Beast.

My favorite colors are purple, blue, and green. If anyone wants to know

Right now I'm quite enamored with my darling Quirk. <3 And favorite colors, yes! Tell me them! I may not get to do anything 'special', but we'll see how it plays out.

As to a favorite fairy tale, ummmmm. Not... really? I have favorite adaptations of fairy tales, but no favorite tale itself.

Um... no favorite fairy tale. Favorite colors would be green and brown. I'm plotting something myself so colors would be much appreciated.

Oh, any colors except for pinks, pastels, and burnt orange/olive green are good with me! I like...icey colors, fiery colors, natural colors, and holiday colors XD

All the colors TAT no I can't pick just one, any color, any style (though least favorite would be pink/hot pink - admittedly a faint pink is cool) I do love shades of green though XD

Just got around to replying to this. I'm so excited to be sending and receiving cards this year, last year was so much fun!
The little art and gifts you guys sent out were amazing and all of the cards were so sweet. I love this event.

I have a couple of Sams that I'm particularly attached to:



For Fairytale, I think Beauty and the Beast is my favorite.

For Colors, Pink is my favorite! Particularly a powder or baby pink. For color combinations, I love pink with brown and I love brown with teal.

Aw, I could never choose my favorite sam - I love all of them! But I think Curl may be the most Christmas-y, with her green fur and red hair.


Now that NaNoWriMo is done, I'm getting my life back in order and will be sending my cards out soon.

I'll be sending my cards for the exchange out this week (hopefully) I hope you guys like my drawings... I had to guess on some of the markings and colors lol.


Just a question... Whar brand colored pencils do you guys usr? I have Crayola brand and they don't sharpen. The wood just cracks and breaks. So I am in the market for a new brand

I use Prismacolor (a mix of the types that they have). I have a red that doesn't like to sharpen sometimes, but that's probably just bad luck XD

Hey guys, I've got exams (gross) But I'm trying to dedicately work through the art. (No homemade cards this year I'm afraid!) I've drawn and inked 3, I'm hoping to do like 2 a day this week and be ready to send them out either this weekend or....eek...next weekend. If they do get sent out late, I apologize, but maybe that'll extend the holiday season a bit! Next year I'll finish earlier. <3

I have my cards bought but definitely won't have the time to put Sams in them this year, sorry ;____; In fact I really need to get them mailed out, it's already December and stuff takes forever to get from the wilds of Canada during the holidays XD

I use Laurentian pencil crayons but they don't make them any more. I'm not sure what I'll do when I work my way through my hoard of them XD; They sometimes have issues with the lead or wood breaking and an electric pencil sharpener is key!

I mailed everyone in the US out - I was going to do the three others earlier but I didn't have a vehicle to get to the post office because adults kept stealing it from me >| I'm excited to see what kinda cards I get, and for everyone else to get theirs! XD

Sorry guys! I will try to get them out by this Sunday. Christmas may be "stretched' a bit but I'm afraid I've had a lot of business with exams. Tomorrow I should have time to get back to the art.

I drew headshots... I hope they aren't too terrible. My hand shakes slightly when I'm drawing so I can't draw a straight line to save my life. lol
