Welcome to the fourth annual holiday gift-o-rama This is your chance to gift Samanayrs, pets, and accessories to your friends for the holidays!

There will be a number of free gifts, and also some paid ($USD) gifts available. All of the gifts will be revealed at some point before December 25 (probably Dec 23), but until then you'll only know the type of gift you received, not what's in it

To make things easier for me, all gifts will be given anonymously. You're welcome to let your gift recipient know that you got the gift for them, but it's up to you to tell them, not me!

Rules and info

- Please no pouting or complaining if you don't receive a gift, or if you don't get the gift you want. Unfortunately there is a limited number of gifts available, and while I don't want anyone to miss out I also want to keep my sanity!
- Please don't beg or whine in the thread for gifts. You can let people know you'd like a Samanayr gift by getting added to the hopeful list.
- You can only buy and gifts for other people, not for yourself.

There also some limits for free and paid gifts, but there's more information about both types of gifts below. Read on for more info How gifts are given away is also different this year, so please be sure to read all of the info even if you’ve participated in previous gift-o-ramas!

There's three types of free gifts - Samanayrs, pets, and accessories! Each type is being given out differently, so make sure you read everything in this post to get ready for gifting.

Each person can receive one free Samanayr, pet, and accessory.

As for giving gifts, it’s going to be a bit different this year. I know it’s fun to scramble to give gifts first-come first-served and surprise availability is exciting, but I just don’t have the time or energy this year D: So things are going to be a little more slow-paced, but hopefully still fun!

Like last year, Samanayrs will be available to gift for the duration of the event in a great big random draw. Accessories and pet gifts will be given away in a series of 24-hour random draws, scheduled in advance so that you (and I XD) know what to expect when! Paid gift slots will be available as I have the time and given away in shorter random draws.

So far 10 Samanayrs will be finding homes through the gift-o-rama! This number will increase as I finish more (and possibly some guest artists - I was bad and didn’t give everyone enough warning!). Their giftbox is green with a red ribbon.

All of the Samanayr gifts will be given away through a random draw. Each person who wants to gift can include up to three different recipients. 10 gifters will be randomly drawn, and the first person on their list will receive a gift Samanayr! If the first person listed has already received a free Samanayr gift, I'll go on to the next person in the gifter's entry. If the same happens with the next person, I'll go on to their third person. If all three have recived a gift, I'll go on to the next randomly drawn entry.

Instead of a variety of minor pets this year, I'll be giving away 6 semi-custom pet tokens!



Pet tokens will be available on December 5 and December 15. On those days, just send me a PM with the subject Gifting - pet and the following filled out:

There will be 3 pet gifts given away on each of those days, with the lucky recipients revealed the next day
There will be three kinds of accessories available - Candy Cane Leggings, a Glowing Lights Armband, and an Icicle Choker! Here’s a little doodle of how these different accessories will look (well, except better XD):
There will be a total of 10 accessory slots available, and you can decide which type your recipient will receive

Accessories will be available on December 8 and December 13. On those days, just send me a PM with the subject Gifting - accessory and the following filled out:

There will be 5 accessories given away on each of those days, with the lucky recipients revealed the next day

Paid gifts ($ only) will be available every so often as I have time.

The giftbox for all paid gifts is gold with a red ribbon. Each person can receive a maximum of one paid gift. There's no maximum of how many you can gift, but each person is limited to one slot per batch.

This time around, there's two types of paid gifts
Tokens can be redeemed at any time (although it may take me a bit to get to it if I'm busy!), and each one does what it says on the image

If you purchase a custom Samanayr or pet, it'll be the usual process - you give me the form, I show you the sketch (unless it's a semi-custom or breeding), and once I've approved your sketch I finish up the custom. The difference this time is that you can't purchase it for yourself, and the recipient will have to wait until the presents open to see the end result!

When paid slots are available, I'll make posts in the gifting thread on PI and the Sam forum. You'll have a few hours to send in your form, and then the winners will be randomly selected!

In addition, each person who purchases a gift will receive a unique item - the Snowflake Cookie!
This is a one-use item and when used in a breeding, the foal(s) will receive one of these traits, determined randomly:

- Glacies
- Body spines
- Long ears
- Long hooves
- Butterfly wings (single or double)

The gifts are finally open, hooray! If you received a gift you don't need to do anything to claim it, it'll appear in your inventory eventually XD I'm hoping to get everyone's inventories updated by the end of the week.

In the meantime, here's some info about the different gifts:

I also should add, we're heading off on the 18th to my mom's house for the holidays! That means that custom paid gifts won't be available after then, just tokens, so if you're thinking of gifting someone a custom now's the time!
