Samanayrs

As we all know, breeding Samanayrs is a lot of fun - picking out the perfect pair and seeing how their traits and markings come together! Sometimes, though, the perfect pair just isn't available. Maybe someone's already applied with them, maybe they're in different Songs, or maybe they're even the same gender! Well, now's your chance to splice together two or three Samanayrs that wouldn't be able to breed together otherwise

Wait, three Samanayrs?! That's right, this round of splicing you'll have the option to apply with three 'parents!' Should make for some interesting 'babies'

There will only be one three-'parent' winner and two or three two-'parent' winners and you can only apply once, so it's up to you to decide if you want to go for the better chance of success or the more interesting splice! All winners will be drawn randomly, since I know from experience it's impossible for me to choose!

This time around you can also use one-use items, such as cookies or chocolates. Like with breedings, the item is only used up if your splice is successful.

Splicing rules and info

- This is running on PI and the Sam forum, so please just apply at once place.
- This is not a breeding, and the Samanayrs being spliced do not count as the spliced Sam's parents. It's just a Samanayr that 'happens' to have traits, patterns, and colors similar to the original two/three ;D
- The Sams involved don't have to be in the same Song or even opposite genders!
- If you don't own both of the Samanayrs involved, you need to get permission from the other owner(s) before applying. This applies even if the Sams are members of open Songs.
- Because this isn't a breeding, some things work a little differently. There's a 50% chance of a trait being inherited if one 'parent' has it, and a 75% chance if both 'parents' have it.
- The species will be that of one of the 'parents,' with a 50% chance of being either species. That means if you were to splice a Mystic and a Misery the result would be a Mystic or Misery, with no chance of a Sibyl or Mystery.
- Each Samanayr can only be applied with once.
- There is a limit of one one-use item per splice.

Tierasa, you've got the potential there for a DREAM SAM by my opinion. :O Spectrum's my top favorite of any Sam. And Zephyr is my personal fave of my own horde. So. Yeah. Wow.

They'd have the species-specific traits for their species and would get traits from the other 'parent' too! Jennalyn's Kodyla from last round is a good example, she also has very Aboreal-esque traits from the Aboreal 'parent'
