April ended up being unexpectedly busy, what with a couple of non-Sams projects I needed to tackle, the trip to Vancouver we planned after I came up with the festival schedule, and the usual running around..

I feel badly that I've been taking so long to get everything done but wanted to let everyone know I'm still at it XD; I'm about halfway done coloring all the pets, then will work on the outline draw Sams, then the job fair. I'm undecided on proceeding with the cooking contest or not, I have some prizes already done up but might think of a different event for them instead.

This week I'm also going to get all of the Sam cards out in the mail.

So, May is the Spring Fling and a chance for me to play catch-up. I had originally scheduled breeding season for June, because it's fun to have it happen right after the Spring Fling, but now it looks like my next surgery will be happening at the end of May/beginning of June (no firm date yet but that's the approximate time they have for me right now). That being the case, I'm thinking of bumping the breeding season to July and taking June off to recuperate and finish up and other things I need to get done. If my surgery gets delayed again I'll re-evaluate, but for the moment this looks like this best option.

I feel bad bumping it back like this but I'm really going to need to take some time D: Thanks for understanding!

Another update for everyone! I saw my surgeon on Friday and my next surgery is either going to be sometime this week (!!) or in a couple of months. If it ends up being delayed again I'll see where I am in terms of catch-up to decide whether to go ahead with breeding season next month or stick with July.

At this point, although I would love to get the surgery over with this week, I just want a definite date, the wait and not knowing is driving me crazy D:

Got the call this morning and provided I don't get bumped by an emergency I'm going in tomorrow! Yay/eek!
