Thanks so much for sharing your summery images It defnitely worked because now it’s toooo hot here XD Oh well, that’s what summer is all about!

Random has decided that 1610 will be going home with Codress and 1611 will be going home with SilverDapples Congrats, and they’ll grow up in about a week!

Summer is almost here! ..well, according to the calendar, at least. Today it’s been cold and rainy and feels like early spring again! Maybe hunting for some summery photos will help bring the warm weather back? Not too warm though, I’m a bit of a heat wimp XD

Your task is to take a photo of each of the items on the list! Two winners will randomly be selected for these two foals:
Looks like the Song of the Rainbow piled on the modiems to make these foals pure Kirins!

In addition, all entrants will receive a random modiem, and other random prizes may be given out as well

Here's the list of things that you'll need to get photos of:

1 - Sun or a clear blue sky
2 - The beach!
3 - A fan
4 - Delicious fruits and/or veggies
5 - A seasonal treat

Just remember that the list doesn't need to be taken completely literally. For example, if you’re not anywhere near a beach, you could take a photo of a photo of the beach or a photo of a majestic puddle!

- In each photo, please include a piece of paper with your username on it.
- The photos don't need to be taken around your house, they could be at work or just out wherever, as long as you take them yourself!
- If your photos are very large and you're unable to resize, please link to them instead.
- To enter the draw, just post all of your photos in this thread!
- You are welcome to edit your post before the end of the event.

Um....could beach be like...a...loose definition of a beach? Like a rocky shore around a lake or river? Because Munich, Germany is pretty far from any actual seaside beaches. XD

I'm actually going whale watching on Saturday and we have tentative plans for the beach as well, so hopefully I remember to snap some pictures.

The items to be photographed are waaaay open to interpretation! The beach one was actually my example for how the list doesn't need to be taken completely literally since I know most people aren't going to have access to a beach XD You could take a photo of a photo of a beach, or a puddle (teeny tiny bug beach?), put some rocks beside the bathtub (a very private beach with a very rocky shore), etc!

I have a beach in my area, but I would really like to show off the giant bluffs we jump into the lake here. Would that be okay? I could include both if needed. ^^

To me a beach is just where the water meets the land. ^^;;;;

@Dementia - I would love to see those pictures either way!? o.o;; maybe you can still take both? ^^

I could do the beach for the beach photo and the bluffs for the blue sky one? I think that would work?

(Black raspberries and walking barefoot are about the only things that justify the existence of summer to me, anyway! Though, combining the two...maybe not entirely advisable? XP)


I'd almost forgotten how much I enjoy the photo hunts- thanks for bringing them back, Sushi! I can't wait to see all the other entries!

1. Sun or Clear Blue Sky. It's rarely ever fully clear over here, but it was an incredibly sunny day. uwu

2. The beach! Yeah.. Have this poopy beach drawing because sadly I am no where near one.

3. A fan! My life source during the summer.

4. Delicious fruits or veggies! Celery, tomatoes, all stored in the fridge.

5. A seasonal treat. Not necessarily seasonal, but it is for me. I rarely get to eat cereal when I'm away at school (because I have to only get ready and run to class) so summer is the main time I have it.

Our whale watching/beach trip was lots of fun, and I managed to get all but one of the photos I needed.

1 - Sun or a clear blue sky It hasn't been Sunny around me so I went another way with sun. LOL So I made a Sun out of Sunflower seeds and on a sunflower towel. So sun sun sun. ^_^

Wonder of the Glorious Midnight insisted upon accompanying me on this little excursion, and is vouching for me We went to a local park and had a nice little hike, then went in to town and got desert!

2 - The beach! Okay, so it's a little crick, but still, it has a bank? It was too cute to pass up, and I'm actually sitting on a fallen log spanning the crick to take that shot


3 - A fan. Back at home cooling off after a warm afternoon


4 - Delicious fruits and/or veggies. I stopped and got a cup of sorbet topped with all sorts of yummy fruit- kiwis, strawberries, pinaple and blueberries. And a little whipcream cause I earned it!


5 - A seasonal treat. To me, being able to walk barefoot in the grass is one of the true pleasures of summer, and definitely qualifies as a seasonal treat!

Spargel Soup Packets for my mom in the states!

Spargel (white asparagus) is a very popular seasonal dish in Germany, but it's typically only served/available between May and early June. My family isn't coming to visit until July, so I picked up some limited edition Spargel soup packets for my mom since she was sad she missed it!

These are not high quality, I'm sorry, I've had no free time! It was still fun to do- I love our Sam photo hunts! I love looking at everyone else's photos too!
