The other day I wrote a short story about two of my Sams and I was thinking about posting it on the forums for others to read. But I'm not sure where something like that would go. I do think that it would be fun to share stores and art related to Sams though. So I guess I'm just looking for opinions here...

Does anyone else think it would be fun to share stores and art? If so, where would you think they would go? Here in Samanayr Discussion perhaps? Or in General Discussion? Would there be enough interest to see if Sushi would be willing to make a new Art/Story board on the forums perhaps?

I think it would be a good idea to have a forum just for art and stories- maybe in the Hotsprings category, where the RP subforum is. ^_^ There's a lot of creative people here!

If you guys would like one, I'd definitely be willing to set up a stories/art board I would have set one up before if I knew there was any interest!

I'm not sure how much interest there is...but I'd love to see a board for stories and art! Maybe having one would encourage people to join in!

I have some Sammy fanart and stories in my head to write down. I'd love a board where we can share our art, stories and ideas with others. Like others have said, there are a lot of creative people in the community, and we have a lot to share, I'm sure. <3

I know I'd be interested in doing some Sammy fanart! :O I have several pieces I've started, but never finished, and I'd love to do more work on them so I can post them up!!

I also think this would be an excellent excuse for Sushi to make Sam-plushies. ;D

@Britain - Sam plushies would be awesome XD First I'm going to try making or finding a pattern to make a Ponyta for a friend, then maybe after that I'll try a Sam-plushie..

That's a good start; Ponyta will give you a good basis to plan Sams from. The wings...oh lordy, the wings will be crazy. You had a great start on you phoenix-kitty, though.

re: my birthday, I'm turning 25 this year and I'm just feeling like I'm getting older and haven't really accomplished anything XD; It's also going to be my first birthday away from my friends and family in Vancouver, so it's going to be weird. Hopefully my boyfriend won't have to be away for work on my birthday, but there is a possibility.. if that happens, I'll be all by myself XD

I started a cross-stitch yesterday of a cat, I've got the first color done now! And I'm starting to plan a Bounty cross-stitch I'll post in in the forum when I'm done XD

I've worked in a hot dog plant for the last 10 of those years, if you want to talk about not accomplishing anything. When I was in college I had grandiose plans of being a doctor or a research scientist in a lab somewhere, working on a cure for cancer or something. And instead here I sit, day after day, listening to some big doofus whistle all day, counting down the hours until I can go home to spend a couple of hours with my family before bed, only to get up the next morning to do it all again.

And now that I've thoroughly depressed everyone...

There's much more to life than accomplishing something grand. There's family, there's friends, there's PI and adoptables, there's just enjoying where you are, no matter where it is, and doing whatever it is that you do, no matter what that is. At the very least, you have a great artistic talent, and you have all of us who enjoy it, and YOU, so cheer up, gosh darn it! Or we'll all come up there and MAKE you!
