Ok lovely. ^_^ What are you trying to acomplish? That is the question here.

Networking is between more than one computer, if your going to network you need to have more than one work station set up. From there you will need either wireless networking or hard line *cables*. Most go with wireless as of now because it is terribly easier.

Personally I dont suggest mac's unless all your going to be doing is Music, art and or movies. Mac's arent the best gaming games but they are VERY good at keeping safe. Mac's have a great feature of them, they dont run on windows. Most hackers and such focus on windows because its an easy operating system and most dont know everything about it.

But if your going to do Games PLUS all that other enertainment stuff, then I suggest a PC. PC's can be changed and altered to fit your specific needs. PC's are also the normal operating system that people use as they are cheaper and theres more literature around to help the average person use it.
